Jay has been overseeing all of the Maxicorp Building Engineering and Maintenance properties since 1987.  This includes office buildings, shopping centers, industrial parks and medical facilities.

He has supervised up to 15 engineers in addition to security and janitorial personnel.

Expert Qualifications

Mr. Cooley has completed all Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) training courses and holds a Maintenance Electricians License.

Jay is a skilled locksmith, experienced with rebuilding pumps and is trained extensively in plumbing work.

Trained in centrifugal chillers controls, schematics and control and motor wiring courses.

Previous Experiences

His extensive experience includes construction supervision and project management with proficiency in the bidding process.

His HVAC experience includes equipment from 1,000-ton centrifugal chillers to DX and package units and split systems, as well as 20 years experience in pneumatic controls, Johnson controls, Honeywell, ITT, Robertshaw, and Barbra Coleman products.

His energy management knowledge includes Johnson controls W7010 and W7020 systems and Matesys and Staefa controls.

Mr. Cooley is also experienced in medical facility maintenance and management including, medical gasses and implementing quarterly and annual inspections on medical equipment.
